John Lennon died 34 years ago today. During an interview
over the weekend, Paul McCartney commented about how he and John managed to put
aside all the bitterness and angst that had split up the Beatles and become
friends again prior to John’s death.
While reading the article, I was reminded of the importance coming to
terms with unfinished business from the past. Coming to terms does not mean you
forget everything. Rather, it means
learning to put it in its proper place.
And so you know, I am writing this one for me. Paul’s words reminded me that I have some
unfinished business to work through starting right now.
