And Away We Go!

Last night I stopped by to see my friends Tamara and Jeff Fisher. This was their sendoff for a new adventure for them. They had finally done it. They stopped talking about it and just did it. They are going after one of their dreams. They quit their jobs, put everything in storage and are spending the next year traveling the world. They know when they're leaving and coming back and roughly which countries to see. Other than that, they're winging it. They are carrying, literally, everything in backpacks. If it doesn’t fit, ya don’t need it.
Remember the woulda, coulda and shoulda sayings? I see all three of those as missed opportunities. They are the dreams and thoughts without the action behind them. The good Lord puts dreams and aspirations in hearts, but it is up to us to listen and follow through. I kinda see it as God’s Bucket List. Sometimes in life, you just need to take that chance and put action to the dream. When you continue to “feel it” that is your spirit telling you to do. Jeff and Tamara listened and are indeed doing it.
To Tamara and Jeff, safe travels my friends. Remember to update the blog and Facebook so "we" can be on the trip with you. Love Y'all, Rodney.
And yes someday very soon, I will indeed take that cross country Harley trip. I too will be putting action into my dreams. Well at least one of them for now.
