One-Size Fits All
7 5/8 is the size of my cowboy hat. Yes, I know I have a big head. I still get amused when I look at the sizes on baseball caps, and it says one-size fits all then the dang thing does not fit me. I have also seen hats labeled one-size fits most, which is a more accurate depiction of size in my opinion.
Life would be a lot simpler if there was a one-size fits all approach: one type of workout, one type of thinking, one type of clothing, one menu item at eateries, one type of politics, one type of job, one type of religion, one type of car, one type of house, etc. What the heck am I saying? If we were all the same, we would be nothing more than clones or machines. What would be without creative thinking, change, or anything else that makes us unique? A one-size fits all type of life would be a total disaster. The good Lord made us all to be different and unique.
I am happy one size does not fit all. I actually snicker when I find a cap that does not fit me. I like knowing there is not another person in the world 100% like me. It is like the old joke: “They broke the mold when they made you. Rumor has it they beat the hell out of the mold maker too.”
