One I Can Solve

Sum of All Parts

I write often about the subject of us all being connected in this great universe. Some look at me funny, and I’m fine with funny looks. I know that means they are at least thinking and will have that conversation with me again. The bottom line is we are not made to do everything by ourselves or know every single thing there is to know. Some think they know it all, which really upsets those of us who do! J YES, that is a little plucky comedy relief thrown in to today’s comments. We need and depend on others, period. We are made that way by design.

I watched the “sum of all parts” in action at the San Antonio Air Show. My friends with Air Force Special Operations jumped over the weekend. As they were gearing up for the jump, I observed how much attention they paid to not only their equipment but also the equipment of the other members of the team doing the jump. They checked the communication equipment, inspected each other’s riggings, and checked all the parts and pieces associated with the parachute. What they do is damn dangerous. Checking each other’s equipment keeps them safe. They totally understand functioning as a team, a unit, the “sum of all parts.”

If you think you can do it all alone in this life, you are 100% wrong. No one is fully self supportive. Do you feel like there are some parts missing in your life? If you feel it, then there probably are some missing pieces. Ask for help. We can help you find what is missing.

To my friends in San Antonio, Kenny, Victoria (Kenny’s daughter), Danny, Krystal, Robert, Lacie, Francis, Nicole, Kirby, Ken, Carol, Chris and all my new friends, thank you so much for the hospitality and allowing me to be a part of the jump. It is quite inspiring to see what it looks like when the sum of all parts comes together.
