That Quick

In an Instant

I live close to downtown Houston and am on the flight paths to Hobby and the Medical Center.  Over the years of living here, I’ve learned to distinguish the different types of aircraft in the area.  One that has a unique audio signature is the Life Flight®helicopters.  Without fail, I cringe a little when I see or hear the copters.  I know the sound of one of the copters means something bad wrong has happened to someone.  It reminds me to be thankful that I’m hearing the copter rather than being on it. The sound also reminds how quick things can change in our lives. A medical condition, an accident, or unplanned event can completely change your life in literally, the blink of an eye.  Rather than spending tons of time worrying about the future, why not take some time to embrace the now.  In an instant, your life as you know it can completely change.
