New Stuff


Updates


A week does not go by that I do not get an online request to update my computer software, virus program, FaceCrack, or my iWhatever device.  Isn’t it funny how quick we are to accept updates when it comes to our gizmos and gadgets, but we are reluctant when opportunities to update “us” come along?  Someone sharing knowledge is a chance to update.  Learning something new is an update.  Listening provides opportunity to update.  Reading a suggested book is a chance to update.  A new job is an update opportunity.  There are daily opportunities to update ourselves, but we typically brush right past them in the name of being too busy.  When we update ourselves, we also get the chance to update others then they can update others and on and on.  That’s how we keep this learning and growing thing going.
