A Purpose

Yep!  Even those dreaded pests called roaches have a purpose in this world other than annoying the crap out of everyone and making girls scream and hop up on a chair.  They are actually part of the overall environmental equation of the circle of life.  They help decompose dead things and trash.  They are recyclers and a source of food for other critters like birds, lizards, small mammals, etc.  They do have a purpose in the bigger picture.  Have you noticed where you do not see roaches?  You don’t seem them in places that are clean and free of clutter and trash.  You have to stay on top of your surroundings to keep roaches away.  Letting things go and pile up is just an invitation for roaches.

Like roaches, we experience people and events in life that make us wonder, what is their purpose?  I know the life changing events I’ve experienced to date were not at all clear as to why at the time they happened, but now, there is all sorts of clarity.  I’ve learned and continue learning there may not be an obvious answer, but there is a reason and purpose.
