There It Is

Many times a day, life presents us with opportunities, but I think we overlook them all too often, as we tend to not pay attention.  We get so caught up in seeing who is texting us, wondering about making the next appointment, stressed about paying bills, and just overall distracted.  There are 100s of opportunities presented.  Occasionally, I will mentally track them.  Saying hi to someone with their head down is an opportunity to take their mind off whatever has them so distracted.  Opening a door for someone almost always initiates a smile on their part.  Having a conversation with the bank teller rather than standing and waiting for the transaction to be completed will shift their day.

Today, pay extra attention to the things presented to you where you can make a little difference.  I would bet you would be in the double digits before lunch.  Then do the same thing tomorrow, the next day, and the next day.  Before you know it, it becomes the norm.  When you look for an opportunity to make a difference, there it is.
