You Just Know

When I wrote my book, I had no expectations or notions.  I wrote it for me as it was just the next step in my journey of finding me, but when I hear how my words touch others, it’s bring a little smile and a tear knowing I’ve made a difference.  Remember, we all have the ability to make a difference in someone’s life.

Below, is a portion of an email I received yesterday.  Getting responses like this one just validate that I did the right thing by writing the book.

Hi Rodney,

I received your book as a gift from a mutual friend last week and have really enjoyed it.  Sometimes when I read it, I almost think you know me, LOL... I am sure you have heard that before.

I appreciate your insight and wisdom.  Some of it made me laugh, some made me cry... I guess you get that too.  Most of it made me think, and listen, and wake up. I loved the section called Seasons Change...  When I had Breast Cancer last year, I called it my lost season. I even wrote that on all my medical file folders.  Funny that you would put all that in words and it fit my life at that time even if it wasn't a relationship.

I can't wait to share the book with friends.  I already talk about it daily and share tidbits with anyone I come in contact with.  I choose happy and I choose to pass it on.
