Distorted

Can you see the real me?  Who remembers that line out of The Who song?  The topic at Starbucks this morning was judgment made on appearance.  I favor one leg from time to time due to knee surgeries.  Does that mean I am crippled?  No, it just means my leg is a little sore that day.  I like riding Harleys, but that does not make me an outlaw biker.  George has long white hair and a long white beard.  Does that make him Santa Claus?  No, but plenty of people ask him that very question around Christmas.  Truth be known, he is an outstanding photographer, a Marine from the Vietnam war, orphan, and a father.  I would have never known those things until I talked to him.

What you see is not always, what you get.  If you really want to know someone, just say hi.  That little word can lead to all sorts of learning opportunities.  Strive to leave the judgment to the good Lord.
