Turn Off My Ears

I wish I had a physical switch to turn off my ears. Between the crap on the television and nonsense people talk about, there are times I wish I had a switch.  Luckily, I can turn off television or radio; however, when it comes to people babbling about nothing, I literally sometimes have to leave.  I do not need to hear about who is cheating on whom, your physical ailments, you booty call last night, your ever so lame pickup lines, or about your no good boss. Yes, those are a just a few of the things overheard out in public.  It seems the “inner voice” concept has gone right out the door. It is a simple concept.  If you do not want people talking about you, do not give them the ammunition.  Use your inner voice and a little discretion.

Whether or not you see it at the time, all the “data” we take in around us, does have an impact on us at some point.  That is why I prefer to turn off my ears to the nonsense, and turn them on for the positive and good things in life.  Try it.  You might like it.
