Low Battery

Most every new smart phone out there has a battery meter option. With location services and wireless turned on, you are lucky to have your phone last 24 hours before a recharge.  Mine starts the countdown at 20%, then alerts again at 10%, and then starts the red bar countdown to a complete discharge and being out of power. My annoying little electronic leash has taught me the importance of keeping an eye my internal power meter.

Like the location services and active wireless networking, things we encounter in our day can also put a drain on our daily allotment of energy.  Stress at work, stress in our personal life, or maybe traffic, can all lead to a quick energy drain, if we do not pay attention to our internal power meter. Yes, there are times we have to plug in for a quick charge, but if the quick charge becomes the rule rather than the exception, we, like our phones, will need a battery replacement sooner than later.

Keep an eye on your internal meeting.  If you feel run down more than you feel up, that is a surefire indicator that your battery is in need of recharge or replacement.  It is totally fine and needed to go completely off the grip for a complete discharge and recharge.  Like our phones, there is only a finite amount of energy for us in any given day.  Learn to be smart with your utilization.  Sometimes a total discharge is the best thing you can do.  When you recharge, you have a completely different view on things.
