R.E.S.T.

We all need rest.  We are not designed to run 7x24.  Sure, we can go for a few days without rest, but at some point, we will crash.  There is only so much our bodies can give and take before they break down.  I see the word rest as more than a four-letter word.


R - Relax & release yourself from the daily nonsense that attempts to stress you out and take your joy.
E - Enjoy the silence that’s found during a little quiet time.  Allow your mind some time to unwind.
S - Slow down and get calm.  Running in many directions keeps us scattered and stressed. Take some time each day to focus on you and the goodness in your life.
T - Take time to reflect on the important things in your life like your friends, family and many blessings. Remember, time is the one thing in life that cannot be replaced.  Use it wisely.
