Momentary

Pink Floyd has an album entitled, Momentary Lapse of Reason. Album or not, I’ve had instances of many momentary lapses of reason.  I applied logic to the situation only to find that all logic sometimes needs to be thrown right out the door. We make decisions based on emotion, only to find they were wrong.  There were moments we believed we were doing the right thing and found we allowed our emotions to cloud or override our logic and spider senses.

Here’s the deal. We all have moments we would prefer to have back, but they happened and are done. To continue to focus on them is truly a momentary lapse of reason.  People come and go in our lives.  LET THEM! It’s healthy to learn from experiences and move on.
