Completely Impossible



There is at one thing I know of that is completely impossible.  Yes, I know I am a hopeless optimist, but I know for certain that you cannot please everyone no matter how hard you try.  How do I know?  I am a fixer/pleasure by nature. That’s just one of my insecurities, and having done it for most all of my life, I certainly know what it looks like.  What I also know is that once you accept you cannot please everyone, life takes on a little different complexion. It is basic boundaries 101.  When attempt to please others to your own detriment, that’s when you know you have an out of balance or missing boundary.  Take the time to do a quick boundary check.  Accepting that some things are impossible is a good thing and good for you.
