“Anger gets in the way of love. Anger is a feeling that comes when you feel that things are unjust. Sometimes you may feel violated. Remember though that is only a feeling. In the infinity of the universe, will it still matter a year from now?” – Dawn Lianna M.A.
I read the quote above seven years ago, and it still puts anger in perspective for me. I see anger as a pain in the ass emotion that really serves no constructive purpose. I normally shrug things off, but there are those rare occasions where it all seems to come out at once, and then one of the voices in my head poses a simple question. Will that fit of anger matter next year? Heck, will it even matter later in the day, and the answer for both questions is the same. Nope, not at all!
