Have you noticed how some people are always in a rush? They’re in a hurry for relationships to develop, rushing to run errands, looking for that next promotion, or planning trips down to the minute. What happened to enjoying the ride? As motorcycle riders say and practice, it’s not about the destination, it’s about the ride. Sure, I know everyone has different drivers in life, but that still does not mean there is not enough time to enjoy the ride. Unfortunately, the following phrase is said too often, I wish I would have made or taken the time to, insert subject.
If things feel rushed, they are rushed. Let that relationship develop without pushing it, add some time to your trip rather than rushing to go everywhere, or pull over on the side of the road to read that historical marker. Impatience and regret are 100% avoidable. Unless you are a race car driver, there is no reason to attempt to run at blinding speed. Change, I wish I would have taken the time to insert subject to I’m glad I took the time to insert subject.
