Watch Your Step

With some people, conversations can be like walking through a minefield?  One misstep in any direction and boom.  My observation is manipulators and bad communicators love to lay out minefields.  They like to refer to themselves as shrewd negotiators or master communicators and cannot negotiate or communicate.  They attempt to set people up based on their own convoluted agenda, and before you know it, they are the victim because you did not give the response they wanted.

When you are a good communicator, you do not have to pick your words or set people up.  If you feel like you are being set up in a conversation, there is a good chance you are being set up.  Guard yourself, do not step in any direction, and watch how quick the other side gets frustrated. It’s simple, folks.  When you are a good communicator, the right words come to you.
