Future Impact

For many years now, one of my personal daily action items is to make a difference in someone’s life. I define difference as making an impact in the life of another. Ironically, we seldom know what the future impact of our actions today will be, but I am certain there will be some type of impact.  

Quite often, people tell me something I’ve written impacted or changed their life. When the inspiration to write something hits me, there are times I know without a doubt I am writing for a specific person. Other times I know I am writing just for me, and there are those times where I have no clue what I’m writing about or who needs it. One thing I do know for certain though is that the Lord puts the people, events, and thoughts in my heart to help impact others. We all possess the power of future impact. Rather than wondering if you make a difference, know you make a difference. Engage and make a difference.
