Thought of the Day 9/13/09

Chemistry

“Some people go to priests; others to poetry; I to my friends.”
- Virginia Woolf

I was watching The Soloist the other night and Robert Downey Jr.’s character, Steve Lopez, made the following comment: “…Some mental health experts say the simple act of being someone’s friend can change their brain chemistry…” That comment right there shows you the power and impact we can really have on those around us. If you think about it, you get great feelings from the smiles and hugs you get when you see one of your close friends. You sense and feel the energy. Then think about it when they are not around. You miss their presence don’t you? It kinda gives “I miss you and your company” a little more powerful of a meaning doesn’t it? Cherish your time with those in your life. It’s important and life changing.

Action Item – Change someone’s brain chemistry today. Call a friend and arrange to spend some time with them. It’s healthy.

POSITIVE ENERGY
Paula P.’s son was in a go kart accident on Thursday and had to have a fair amount of reconstructive surgery on his hand. Please send out some positive energy and prayers to Paula and her son for healing and total recovery.

POSITIVE NEWS

Great Day
