P & P

P&P

P&P stands for process and purpose. To get to your purpose you have to have a process. You just can’t go to the state board and say give me a medical license, I want to be a doctor. You have to go through the process of college, medical school, internship and testing to get your license to get to your purpose of being a doctor.

I choose to believe everything in life has a process, but sometimes the purpose is not always apparent at the time we are going through the process. There have been and still are instances where I find myself questioning the good Lord: where is this going, and what is the purpose of this experience? I believe our paths in life are set, but we do have input in said paths. We are supposed to participate in our life rather than sit on the sideline and just be a spectator. That is the very reason we have free will. Without fail, I find that every time I question what is happening, it all seems to come back to one thing for me: patience. I may not see where it’s going, but if I continue to work on my patience, it will indeed become apparent. It’s not always on my time, but it is always as the right time.
