December 25th - FWFF

This morning has been quite entertaining reading the Facebook stories of Christmas along with the texts and emails. There is a common theme from Florida to California – FWFF – Fun With Family and Friends.
Every message includes fun, family, and friends. And yes I am smiling as I am writing this set of words as it warms my heart to see the season is indeed working as designed - to bring family and friends together for fun and fellowship just the way the good Lord likes to see it. For a few weeks out of the year, we slow down a little, put aside differences, make amends, and reconnect. I believe that if we live the world of gratitude and thankfulness, and we will indeed see Christmas all year.
“Store the good times and memories away in your heart so you can think about and smile over them in the weeks and months ahead. Reflect on the goodness of God, who gave the best gift of all – his Son. Commit yourself to sharing the story of Christmas all year long.”
