The Zone
I attended a small birthday gathering last night at Lucky Strike Lanes downtown. There were eight of us there, but you would have thought, by the amount of fun and great energy, it was a standing room only party. There was only one other small group in the lanes next to us, but all eyes were on our group. Maybe it had something to do with it being six hot girls and two guys, but who knows. I did see the employees at the main counter looking over at one time with the “I wanna be part of the fun” look on their face.
To the casual observer, I could see where they would think we had all been friends for life by the way we were playing around, wrestling on couches, hugging, and just overall silliness. There are indeed a number of years between some of us, but then there are others where this was only my second time to see them yet we all interacted like lifelong friends. It comes down to one simple thing: comfort level. We are all high energy, positive people. When you radiate those things, you get the same thing back. Eydie hugged me and said I have not seen you since the Super Bowl Party. What’s funny about that? The Super Bowl party was the first time we had met. Dawn was trying to get me in a head lock, and we were wrestling around. Again, this was only the second time I had been around Dawn. There were so many examples of “comfort” that it would fill up another three pages if I wrote them all out.
A small party at the Lucky Strike Lanes was yet another example of the Law of Attraction in action. The positive energy we were giving off was filling an entire building. Each day we have the option of what to project and what to take in as energy. Y’all know what I choose.
Thanks to Lil Gina for the invite to the party. The Fun Bus and Certified Positive Thinkers strike, no pun intended, again.
