No Signal
I have had satellite television at my house for 10+ years now. I love the service but do get the occasional no signal message on the screen. An atmospheric condition called rain fade causes the no signal error. Signal loss occurs when rain in the area is so dense it interferes with the signal to the point it cannot pass through to the dish/receiver at my house.
There are days I feel like the no signal message flashes before my very eyes. There can be so much crap and chatter in life that the signal just does not make it through to my mental dish/receiver. Rather than rain fade, it is more like brain fade. There is just too much to process at one time and the receiver gets no signal. Most of the time, I can literally feel the brain fade coming on in the form of an overwhelmed feeling inside and tingling in my neck. Other times, I try to fight the brain fade and end up emotionally and mentally tired to the point I could not receive signal no matter how hard I tried. I just freeze up and require a reboot.
I use visualization and gratitude intentions to aid in keeping the signal clear and in full high definition, but I also know brain fade will come along eventually. It is not a matter of if but when, and I get to choose my reaction. I can stay overwhelmed and wait for the signal to return, or I can redirect to other activities and check in on the signal later. No signal for me is a signal to find a little clarity or do something else. How about you?

No signals coming in means it's time to climb in bed, covers over my head and sleep until all channels are back in service.
