A Lotta Words About Nothing

Some people are really amusing.  They can talk all day about what they are gonna do and never once mention how they are gonna do it.  Goals without action are just a lotta words about nothing.  Project Management 101 dictates for any plan to be successful, you must include the execution process of said plan.  How can anything be successful without execution?  I mean really, just think about it for a second.

People talk a lot about wanting to be a millionaire by a certain age, or I want to have my own company by the time I am a certain age.  Now tell me how you will become a millionaire by the time you are XX years old.  Tell me what kind of business you want by the time you are XX years old.  Goals are a necessary part of life, but so is the execution plan.  You have to have an idea of how you want to get there.  If you want to be a millionaire or have your own business by a certain age, talk to someone that has done it.  Do the research to determine what it takes to reach your goals then develop a plan to get there.  With the amount of information available on the internet, there is no excuse for not being able to develop a plan with an execution process.

Remember, “Goals without action are just a lotta words about nothing.”  Strive for more doing and less talking about doing.
