Yes Please!

The Answer


"All I know is that on some of your faces was written the answer 'No' and on some of your faces was written the answer 'Yes.' His was a 'Yes' face."


The quote above is out of an article I read about an act of kindness from Thomas Jefferson. President Jefferson and his party came across a river where the bridge was washed out by a flood. The only way across was with their horses. There was a man standing on the bank with no horse and no visible way to get across the river. After a few of the men crossed the river, he looked up at President Jefferson and asked if he could ride across with him. President Jefferson said yes, and they went across the river. After they made the crossing, one of the men in the party asked him why he chose President Jefferson. The man was taken aback as he did not know it was Thomas Jefferson. That is when he responded with the quote.


We do indeed wear The Answer. Sometimes it is visible on our face and other times projected through our energy. We all sense when someone is or is not approachable. The majority of the time my AF, Approachability Factor, is at 100%. I know when I am totally approachable and when I have my No Trespassing sign out. I can feel it. I strive to wear my Yes sign, but there are just days I need to wear the other one.
