The recent events in Arizona are horrible, but even more embarrassing to me is the media and politicians attempting to use the events to support their hidden agendas. From doing away with the 2nd Amendment to blaming Sarah Palin, they continue to show just how self-serving they really are. They need “something or someone” to blame. Then you have that wacked-out group from a church in the Midwest wanting to protest claiming the people deserved to be shot or die as it is God’s will for them being sinners. They will do anything to promote their agenda or get ratings.
I am not a shrink, profiler, or doctor, but damn even, I know there are just bad people out there. There are mentally ill people out there. Bad things happen in life. No matter how many laws you pass, things happen. For once, can’t these self-serving politicians and media outlets give it a rest and direct their efforts toward the families of those suffering loss from this event. You cannot legislate the badness out of the world.
