There it Is

A common question I get regarding writing is, “how do you get your inspiration to write?”  I don’t go into some deep transcendental state or anything.  I simply pay attention.  I expect some type of inspiration each day so I look, listen, and feel what is going on around me.  I learned to open myself up on all levels to receive the full experience of this great adventure called life.  Inspiration is all around us at all times in my opinion.  When you dream, something can inspire you.  You hear a song on the radio that triggers a thought.  There again is your inspiration.  You see something while walking in the park.  You give someone a hug for no apparent reason.

Open yourself up to receive the full experience.  Rather than being quick to say no to a new adventure, think about it for a few seconds.  There could be some inspiration right around the next corner.  When you look for it, there it is.  Go out and get inspired.  Remember, there is a book in all of us.
