Zero, Zip, Nada
There are some days where I really have absolutely nothing to say. I’m not necessarily working through anything, deep in thought, or upset anything. I really just do not have anything to say. Isn’t it funny though how we all tend to think something is wrong when someone goes quiet or off the grid on us? You do it, I do it, we all do it. If you dig down, you will find we think we did something to make someone go quiet. That’s just how we are sometimes. We make it about us, when in fact, it has zero to do with us. You know the dance, “You’re quiet…what’s wrong…what happened…what did I do???” Before you know it, being quiet has escalated into an argument. Those pesky insecurities of thinking we did something wrong rear their ugly head. If you don’t hear from me, it is entirely possible I am working some internal issues, and it is also entirely possible I am busy, or I am just being quiet.
We all need to get quiet and go off the grid occasionally. You will be amazed at the peace you can find in a Zero, Zip, Nada kind of day. Give it a try. Get your quiet on!
