How It's Made

One of my favorite shows on the idiot box is How It’s Made.  The show is about just that.  They document how things are made all the way from raw materials to finished product.  It gives you a new appreciation to what it takes to create something.  I find myself looking at things a little differently now when I make a purchase.  For instance, certain coffee beans take years to grow before being harvested, processed, shipped, and ultimately a cup of hot brown water.  The same goes for the clothes on our back, and the electricity that powers the computer I’m typing on at this moment.  I have a different appreciation for the process.  It’s a small part of the gratitude lifestyle and being grateful for everything.  Rather than assume something will be there or available, think about, How It’s Made.  Gratitude starts with a single thought.  Be Thankful!
