Re-Frame

Through the years, I’ve seen my life change in many ways, and with those changes, came some tough lessons on all fronts, but I would not change a one of them.  What did and still does change though is me.  I’ve learned to re-frame my view of my life as it has changed.  Re-framing is the process of seeing things differently relative to your current life situation.  It’s adapting to the current view rather than holding on to a past view.

Think about the guys my age that still troll the dance clubs, wear the bad gold, and have the comb over working.  They just can’t give up the past and still have a view of themselves from the 80’s.  Then you have the former rich people that lost it all but still attempt to live the lifestyle but are now bankrupt, live in an efficiency apartment and just cannot come to terms with the new view.  There are pages and pages of examples of when we need to re-frame our view.

I enjoy re-framing my view.  My life is so fun and interesting by choice that I re-frame on a regular basis.  When was the last time you re-framed your view?
