Bumps & Bruises

There is one thing consistent to all the cruises.  As the cruise progresses, you will see more and more skinned up knees and lots of bruises. A lot of them can be attributed to tasty adult beverages I’m sure, and others come from slips and falls due to the wet deck.  No matter what the source is, they all have one thing in common, loss of balance.  Today alone, I saw a few people hit the deck as they did not “ebb and flow” with the movement of the ship.  You just have to pay a little more attention on a ship, or you will end up on your butt.

Much like going with the movement on a ship, you also need to be able to “ebb and flow” with situations in life.  Bumps & bruises come with living, and there is really nothing you can do to completely stop them.  However, you can reduce the risk by working to keep balance in your life.  Listen to your head and heart, assess your surroundings, and above all, pay attention to those spider senses.
