I Can Feel It Coming

Over the last few weeks, I’ve felt another shift in direction for me. It is nothing out of the blue, as the 3rd and 4th quarters, are big seasonal shifts for me. I recall not knowing what was going on with me during this time of the year but knew things were different.  I was more emotional; more introverted, sometimes conflicted, and would even distance myself.

When I began figuring out this is my seasonal shift time, I could see patterns all the way back in my life.  I quit a job in Houston in August of 1987 and moved to Philadelphia. I moved back to Houston in August of 89.  I met Richard in August of 89.  I met Pete and Sharon in September 89. My mom died in November of 91. In August of 2006, things changed in my life in a big way.  In October of 06, I met Jamie, my counselor and dear friend, which turned out to be a life changer for me.  I met Lauren in October of 2008. That too turned out to be a life changer, as she brought Tristen into my life.  Some of my most requested written pieces came about in the same part of the year.  Then in September of 2010, I published my first book.  I know there are big things coming for me for the rest of the year.  Who knows, it could be time for the second book.  I think I might call it, New Angle – New View.  Stay tuned.

Take a little time to reflect and find your only seasonal shifts.  You too can feel it coming.
