Sidestep

Every so often a story pops about how someone in a prominent position has taken a few creative liberties and embellished their resume’ with less than factual information.  Then we have those so-called financial wizards that believe their own hype about being that savvy at investing only to end up in jail for cooking the books.  Athletes take steroids to enhance their performance only to end up with rage issues, heart disease, and failing livers.  Sidestepping typically gets you right off in the ditch.

Speaking from experience, sidestepping something typically yields less than favorable results.  I attempted to skip a step while working on one of my Harleys and ended up with a nice dent in the fender from skipping said step.  In this instant gratification and sense of entitlement world we live in today, sidestepping appears to be more then norm than the exception.  Take the time to learn it the right way the first time and then work on improving it.  That’s not sidestepping; that’s making things “more gooder.”
