Pay it Backward

Yes, the title is a play on words.  I know the phrase or act is actually, pay it forward.  I read a nice online article on about a pay it forward chain.  A patron at a coffee shop drive through paid for his coffee and the person behind him.  The car behind the next driver paid for the one behind them and so it went on for three hours and 228 customers.   That is where play on words, pay it backward, popped up.

I recall hugging a stranger at Luke’s recently.  After the hug, she smiled, had a few tears, and said thank you.  I then hugged her friend and it went on from there to three more people. Whether it is a cup of coffee, kind words, or a hug, a pay it forward chain leaves a mark on someone in such a good way.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, it to build your own pay it forward chain today.  When you do, please write about it so I can share the goodness with others.
