Supply & Demand

Currently, there is a lot of focus on the supply & demand for ammunition.  If you can find any, there it a strict limit on the quantity you can purchase, or the price is through the roof.  Similar events occur during Black Friday sales, limited edition tennis shoes and even gasoline sometimes. Supply & Demand applies to most every aspect of life.

Each day, we wake up with an amount or supply of energy on all levels: emotional, mental, physical & spiritual.  As we go through the day, people and events draw or demand from our supply. Traffic, flame emails, lines at the coffee shop, or whatever, all take a little from our supply. What happens too often though is that we continue giving in to demand knowing our supply is depleted. We get into an out of stock situation.  Allowing ourselves to get into an out of stock situation does nothing good for us or anyone else.  When I feel the demand attempting to exceed my supply, I remove myself from the situation.  That can be ending an energy zapping conversation, turning off the cell phone, or literally walking away from the source of the demand.

Does the demand for your time and energy regularly exceed your supply?  If so, check your boundaries and remember, it is okay to say NO!
