From the Strangest Places

I had a recent opportunity to chat with someone about challenges with boundaries.  I told them I would share my book on boundaries to help them out.  When I picked it up to take it to them, I decided to thumb through it again.  As read all the pages I had marked, I realized that I was rereading the book because I needed a refresher in a few areas.  It was not so much that they needed the book but more that I needed some reminders.  As I read on, I smiled and thought about how messages and inspiration can come from the strangest of places.  I believe the good Lord and the universe provide us with messages and inspiration all the time, but we do not always listen or see them.  We get caught up in the day-to-day chatter of life or sometimes choose to not see or listen to things presented to us while thinking we can figure it all out on our own.

Contrary to popular belief, we are not designed to be loners.  We are not made to be alone or solve all problems on our own.  We are meant and designed to be in relationship with others on the family, friend, and romantic levels. We are made to help each other through the tough times. When you feel overwhelmed or at the end of the rope, reach out for help.  When you feel you cannot find the answer, ask someone else.  When you feel like you cannot pick yourself up off the floor, reach out and someone will be there.  Inspiration and help are all around us when we learn to look and listen.  You never know where it may come from but it’s there. Look and listen.
