Yep! I said it. No matter how
hard we try, not all days are “happy, happy, happy.” Some days and events in life are one giant
crapsicle. No matter what we do, we feel
the “kickin” continuing to happen. The default response is, “make it stop…this
hurts.” The reality is that the default
response seldom works. We have to get up
off the ground, brush ourselves off and say, “Is that all you got?” Some of the
best lessons I have learned were when I was at my lowest points and did not see
a way out of my chaos. Well, until I
stopped thinking I could fix everything, realized I did not have all the
answers, and learned to listen to my head/heart and the good Lord.
There are times we need
help. Help is not a bad four-letter
word. It does not mean we are weak or
anything else. Rather, it means we realize
we cannot do everything on our own and need help from those that love us and
care about us. There is no one person on this earth that has all the answers or
can solve all problems. Allow yourself
to ask for help. You will be glad you
did.
