Thanks I Needed That Today

I regularly text my sister jokes and pictures to give her a little chuckle.  Yesterday, I sent a silly one and she responded with today’s title.  Her response brought to mind a book I read about being connected.  Specifically, there was a part in the book about when people come to mind, there is a reason/purpose.  Think about the times someone has come to mind and you get that little tingle in your neck or you look around as you can sense their energy.

I realize that not every single thought should trigger us to reach out to someone, but I’ve found that thoughts and feelings about those I’m closely connected to do bring cause to reach out.  A song came on the other day that triggered a memory of a song Sally told me about years ago so I sent her a note that I was thinking of her.  I found one of Boo Boo’s, Lynnel’s cat, play toys that he had knocked under the closet door downstairs during the last time he stayed with me so I took a picture and sent them a text that I was thinking of them.

Through my personal experiences, I do sense and feel those in my life that I am connected to on the heart level.  It’s not some silly new age nonsense.  It’s called Heart Coherence and there is science to support it: http://www.glcoherence.org/about-us/about.html.  When you sense or feel your “heart connected” people, reach out to them.  They will be glad you did.
