I have my computer set up to check for software and security
updates once a week. When new ones crop
up, I get the, "Updates ready for installation" message. I apply the same thing to my life.
I read inspirational and thought provoking articles daily.
Much like the computer, there are web sites that send me links for new things
to read ranging from stories of kindness to an article this morning about the
how one man can indeed change the planet. His name is Jadav “Molai” Payeng. He is an Indian man that started planting
trees in 1979 after a flood destroyed a big portion of northern India's Assam
region and many animals died from the heat and no shade. Some 35 years later, there is a 1,360-acre
forest. That forest is the direct result
of Molai’s desire to make a difference.
That article was a nice update for me, as it reminded me of how
important we all are in this puzzle and how one determined human being can
change the world.
