Today Sucks

The drama that you see on social media is mostly comical and sometimes utterly ridiculous. You’ll see someone pining away because their “Eye” Phone took a crap, or they were not invited to some “she-she, poser” event.  One thing I’ve seen in common with the biggest whiners is that they seldom have anything of substance to whine about, while those facing the toughest of times continue to move forward.  I have friends and family that have some pretty rough illnesses, but they don’t complain.  I see some of our veterans that have lost limbs and are fighting internal demons daily, but they don’t complain.

We do not always have control over or a say in the things that happen in life, but we totally control how we choose to respond. Responding to drama with drama will just keep you in said drama.  Responding to the nice things in life with gratitude and thankfulness will keep you in a good place of calm and wonderful energy.

Does your today suck or is your today a great day?  The response is all yours.  I choose my day to be great.
