Where To Look

During a conversation about paths in life, the topic of “answers” came up.  The context was regarding how people spend so much time looking to others like motivational speakers, ministers, so called subject matter experts, etc.  There are indeed a lot of things I do not know that require I seek out answers from others; however, the answers to the real and meaningful questions about me and my life are all located in one place, Me.  Now before people run off in the ditch, let me explain my position.

When things go well, it is because I listened to my spirit, intuition, or whatever other word you want to use.  When things go south, it is because I did listen but chose to go against what I heard.  The annoying ego rears its head again.  We know when something or someone is right and when something or someone is wrong. When we are around the wrong people or in situations where we do not belong, it’s uncomfortable. I know I feel it physically when I that happens.  When the right people or situations are there, we know we belong, because it feels good and we are drawn the people and places.   Learn to get quiet and listen, you know where to look to find the right answers.
