A Nice Shift

Recent conversations across various groups give me a nice reason to smile.  More people are stepping away from watching the so-called news or reading the paper, as most of the stories reported by both are mostly biased or about all the badness in the world.  The negativity and pessimism is polarizing and draining.  Even better, the cross section of people walking away from the news is all over the age range from early twenties to my age.

There are information sources focusing on the good things going on in the world.  There are two I go to daily for some goodness: Good News Network, www.goodnewnetwork.org and Sunny Skyz, https://www.sunnyskyz.com/ There is another site called DailyOM, www.dailyom.com, which offers daily inspirational thoughts.

As the saying goes, “Life is what we make it.”  We have choices each day on what we allow in our lives and what we deny.  Which do you choose?
