First 50

Out of curiosity, I counted the first 50 posts on the ole page of Yahoo this morning.  There was one uplifting and positive story, 12 ads, 10 about some babbling influencer/Hollywood type, and the balance were, you guessed it, bitching and complaining posts/click bait.  Yes, there was only one link click for me this morning, and it was about Jason Cabrera. 

He is a 19-year-old young man who started washing dishes and buttering bread in 2018 and now is making $50,000 a year as a manager with 22 people on his team at Layne’s Chicken Fingers in Allen, Texas.  Considering most 19-year-olds are only interested in when they get the next smart phone, it was comforting to see his two main goals: 1. Buying his parents a home & 2.  Opening his own Layne’s Chicken Fingers franchise.  His comment to the reporter was: "If I'm smart with my money, which I have been," he said.  "I'll probably get there real quick.

We can all chip away at the negative nonsense with one nice story a day.  Take a few minutes to find at least one positive story and share it.
