Baggage does not discriminate. It knows no race, financial status, religious preference, or social standing. Anyone that says they do not have any baggage is telling a very large tale! I don’t care how much therapy and counseling you get, how enlightened you are, or what level of ascension you think you have mastered, but if you are breathing, you have baggage. Having baggage is part of life and is okay if you know how to work with it and keep it at manageable levels. Meaning, you should not be carrying around a steamer trunk full of baggage. It should be something more along the size of backpack or carry-on bag.
If you feel emotionally or mentally run down, look at what you are carrying around with you. Do you have a bag full of drama, conflict, or guilt? Are you holding on to things from the past you cannot change, or are you owning things that are not yours and disregarding your boundaries?
Assess your baggage and figure out what can be left at the door. Life is so much better carrying a backpack rather than steamer trunk.
