“A trying journey can only result in a phenomenal blessing.” - Dawn M Harvey
A door is primarily known for two functions: security and an entrance/exit. You have doors that open/close in one direction. You have doors that open two ways, like at eateries, for the staff to go in and out the same door. You also have the infamous revolving door. You go in one side and work your way around to enter on the other side. Many things can happen in a revolving door. You can enter on the outside and exit on the inside. Someone can mess with you by grabbing the door and stopping all progress. You can go on past your place of exit and end up when you started. You can also keep walking in circles inside the revolving door.
I think we all sometimes feel like we are stuck in the revolving door and do not know how or where to get off. We think we know where to get out, but we sometimes miss the exit and have to go back around. Now you can get off where started at which point all you have done is waste energy and nothing has changed. You can “allow” someone to hold the door on you, which means you make zero movement and have again wasted energy. Or, you keep pushing and get out of the revolving door inside the new location. They are all choices, options, situations, etc. Put any label you want on it, but it all comes down to YOU deciding WHAT to do. People can help you, if you ask and listen, but it is ultimately your decision. Stay where you’re at, get stuck, go in circles, or get out at the new location. Personally, I see only one choice, but that is deciding WHAT to do. Have you decided what to do with the revolving doors in your life? There’s no time like the present.
