December 22nd – Staying With The Current Theme
So gifts and blessings seem to be the inspiration I continue to get right now. In keeping with the spirit of the season, I was thinking about what it would be like to have a celebration with friends and family that did not include a “something” wrapped in some paper. Instead, I envision the gift giving being that of going around the room and everyone giving the gift of a story about them, some experience, or someone in the family. Can you imagine how much joy that would bring to the room? There would be tons of smiles, lots and lots of laughs, a few tears, and loads of love. The common gift everyone would be giving is something of themselves, from their heart, and through their words.
For the holiday season, I challenge everyone to give the priceless gift of your time, words and stories with those close to you. You will fill the room with so much love and energy that you may not even be able to contain it. As I have learned more on how to sense and feel others, there are many times I get overcome with the emotion and energy I’m feeling in the room and have to walk out for a bit as it takes my breath but in a good way. This feeling is one I wish on everyone. Get your breath taken away today.
