Too Much?
"Overuse I love you and love um like crazy" - Lee Brice
Lee has a song called Love Like Crazy. I've heard it a number of times, but for some reason, it really stood out this morning. In fact, this one came to me this morning while I was at Lakewood. Love Like Crazy is a song about a couple that's been together 50+ years and how and why they are still together. Overuse I love you is just one line out of some very powerful lyrics.
There was a time in my life, like most people, where I was scared to use the words thinking it would scare someone away or they would laugh at me. Once I finally learned how good it feels in my heart to say the words plus see the look on the face of the person I’m sharing them with, my whole world changed. We all need to hear it: "I love you." Those three words are three of the most powerful in the world. They transcend all dialects and require no translation. We all know what they mean and the associated feeling of giving and receiving I love you. In the Bible, love is one of the most common words you will see. Those three words change lives. There is no such thing as too much when it comes to those three words.
Change someone's life today and let them know you love them. "Over use I love you and love um like crazy." This one is one of my favorite quotes that says it all.
“You can NEVER tell the woman or man in your life too often about how you feel about them. Don't assume they know. Make sure they know!” – Rodney Williams
I love you all. Thank you for being a part of my life.
