Where’s the Remote
Even with the 100’s of channels on television, there are just times I need to change the channel, or turn off the television. It would be nice to have a remote to turn off some people or at least hit the mute button. You know the ones. They sit there, whine, and complain about every possible thing under the sun. I don’t like this song. My food is cold. My beer is hot. Traffic sucks. You name it, and they can complain about it. Since I don’t have a remote, I do one of two things. I tune them out or leave. Just as they have the right to express their displeasure about something, I also have the right to not listen to the whining. There are days at the coffee shop when a table loads up with nothing but whiners. I don’t say a word. I pack up my computer, grab my coffee, and off I go. What’s even funnier is when you have someone complaining about the chronic complainer in the their life. Do you see how that works? They keep the cycle going. If you are around it enough, you start doing the same thing.
Break the cycle, grab the remote, and change the channel from TWN – The Whining Network, to PNN – Positive News Network.
