A Little More Than Usual
Good thing there is only one official day when a fat guy in a diaper with a bow and arrow can chase us around and get away with it. I see Valentine’s Day more as a reminder of what to strive for all the time rather than just a once a year event. Shouldn’t we show and celebrate love and affection all the time? Survey says, YES!
We should court each other all the time. We should be affectionate and ensure those we love know it. We should send cards for no apparent reason. Flowers just because are a nice thing. Coming home to a nice dinner when it is least expected rates right up there too. Sure, Valentines is quite the day for Hallmark, the flower vendors, and all the eateries around town. Have you thought about it this way though? Isn’t is a rush to see your girl light up when she sees a nice flower arrangement, a little gift, or nice home cooked dinner and night of pampering? Ya know it is possible to feel that all the time with a little love and affection. Give it a try.
